PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

(t1475)
Hero (t3400)
BB (t1270)
UTG (t1150)
MP1 (t3035)
MP2 (t1835)
CO (t1335)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] , Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
1 fold, MP1 raises to t200, 3 folds, Hero calls t175, 1 fold.

Flop: (t450) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t350, MP1 calls t350.

Turn: (t1150) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Any idea what the best play would be here?(or what i could have done better earlier in the hand?)

Reraise pf.
Bet pot on flop.

I continue to bet on turn - I think a straight is very unlikely.

Difficult to say for a PS 5.

You have a lot of chips. Villain has a lot of chips. He raised pf. You showed strength. He was unimpressed. OESD on board. Unlikely, that he thinks you have the straight.

I'd give up here.

Correct. Reraising preflop makes playing the hand easier and perhaps less costly.

Ok,i should reraise Preflop i guess.
What actualy happend here was that i bet out a nic amount on the Turn and he folded.

It makes sense to reraise Pf though. So if he would allin? i would drop my hand?

I'm betting the turn and river. If he has a straight, so be it.

It's likely he doesn't have the straight. For him to have the straight, he'd have to have either an 8 or 3 in hand. It's possible, but quite unlikely, that he'd call on the flop with just a gutshot, so the only likely hand you're behind right now is, IMO, 78. Odds are he doesn't have that hand, so I bet again on the turn.

Re-raise preflop, bet about 75% on the flop. You should be fine then. If he gives you major heat go with your reads but lean towards a fold.

I see no problem with not re-raising pf vs a 4 X BB raise from the other bigstack.

C/R the flop. End it there.
