Is there ever a scenario when you shouldn;t C-bet KK HU against a flopped Ace [/ QUOTE ] You want to check-raise certain opponents that are easy to read. For example, you notice a guy who tends to bet the pot every time he's checked to and he picks up lots of pots, but he also folds in a heartbeat every time he is check-raise, even if it's just a min raise. He also tends to check behind if the board isn't draw heavy and he has a hand when it's heads up, but would always chip away at the pot if he was weak. Finally, if he is bet into even just 1/2 the pot or so in a raised pot, he throws his hand away almost all the time. Here, you check-raise if the board isn't coordinated. If he bets the pot, you raise him and take it down, winning more than you would have with a continuation bet. If he checks behind, you have as much information now as you would have had by him calling your continuation bet, but it cost you nothing. |

Re: KK when Ace flops....
I c-bet flopped Ace 90% of the time because very often I'm raising Ax, so Ace supposed to hit me... You may fold out some Aces that perceive themselves as domintaed on this flop, you'll probably get a call from a flush draw, and unfortunately you'll give an easy correct fold to most PP's that missed...
