Default KQ overpair and gutshot

5 players 3-6
No reads, no stats.

Utg calls, Hero KcQs raises, fold, BTN calls, SB 3bets, BB folds. All call.

Flop 9h4cTs
SB bets, utg calls, Hero ?

I thought about raising for a freecard, but since I didn't have any fold equity I called. That's the right reasons, right?

I don't raise for a free card here since SB 3-bet preflop, and is thus more likely to 3-bet you here. I just peel.

Ditto. If you raise and take a free card your hand becomes quite transparent. If you peel and hit on the turn you should be able to put quite a few bets in.
