Default Bluffing with AA

Reads: Villain's stats pointed to him being a nit, 15/3 after 18 hands. I should've folded the flop. That being said, considering he almost definitely has a set, is this a good time to bluff?

On the flop I put him to a decision for all of his chips

Yup...I force him to make the decision on the flop.

BTW, I don't think you're bluffing all that often on this river...

your flop call makes no sense if you think this is a bluff.
unless you aren't sure if it is or not.

I wouldn't read much into an 18 hand stretch. I'm sure I've been 0/0 over an 18 hand stretch.

Push flop.

18 hands means nothing obv. i would 3 bet this, esp w/ his weak raise, it could easily be a hand like JT testing the waters... so blast his face off. +, u dont want to c another club obv, make the move b4 it can get there

pushing the flop sucks as trying to bluff out set with 2 streets for him to fill up is bad.

I like the way that hero played.

I like this if:

Button would never bet a flush draw.
Hero typically would, and button knows it.
Hero check-raises fairly frequently and button knows it.
Button is capable of laying down a small flush on this board.

I'd settle for any two of the first three, but you need the last one.

my point regarding the flop is there is virtually no hand you are ahead of that he would make that raise with. any pair with a club is a favorite against you. I just don't think hes raising with top pair no club especially something small like $35 more here very often. I also don't think this raise is made with the naked ace.

when a non A club pops, we can make a very believable bluff and there is a very narrow range of hands that villain can call us with here. even the K of clubs has a hard decision and I doubt the K of clubs is there very often as villain would have to have specifically KJ with K of clubs on the flop.
