Datamining / PT

I have heard many posters mention that they datamine games, however, when I click on the observed hands feature of poker tracker there is a message in the blue that states:

"ATTENTION PARTY/EMPIRE PLAYERS - Click here for a message about observed hands"

When I click the text it says that the current version prevents hand histories from observed hands from being written on my hard drive...

Am I misssing something here.. How am I supposed to Datamine?
