Back to back hands: Second hand is AA against same villian
No read on villian less then 25 hands total. I won this first one without a showdown.

SB posts a blind of $0.10. 1 fold, Hero raises to $1, 2 folds, SB (poster) calls $0.90, 1 fold. Final Pot: $10.25 So on my next hand I get AA. The flop min raise seemed frustrated so what do you think of the push? Am I only getting called here by a better hand? I thought if he was frustrated enough I might get a call from a worse hand. Re: Back to back hands: Second hand is AA against same villian
If he is frustrated, then it's not too bad a play: A8 and 99-KK might call. If he's not frustrated however, it's terrible, of course. So since that may be the case, I'd probably call and lead the turn for 3/4 pot.

So on my next hand I get AA. The flop min raise seemed frustrated so what do you think of the push? Am I only getting called here by a better hand? [/ QUOTE ] Why did the flop minraise seem frustrated? Not that it really matters: I think A8 and 99-KK might call, frustrated or no. |

[/ QUOTE ] Why did the flop minraise seem frustrated? Not that it really matters: I think A8 and 99-KK might call, frustrated or no. [/ QUOTE ] Well the flop min raise seemed frustrated becasue I had been raising a lot preflop and taking down the pot. I had a view that my table image was a little bullyish. Also the min raise was very fast and I know that sometimes means that villian is raising light. I thought if he had unimproved overs that it was very likely that waiting till the turn would just get a fold rather than a call. Pushing the flop seemed like a good play. Now: Lets say that villian does call. Does his hand range narrow and how often am I ahead? Greg |
