Default Events 40-45

I haven't seen any posts recently regarding these tournaments. Anyone know how many players they are expecting and is there a chance they will sell out? I'm guessing there will be 2000+ and wondering if I need to sign up soon before they fill.

The events last year had between 750-950 in them. I'd expect the numbers about the same.

I signed up for event # 41 (Saturday $1500) last night. The cashier told me only 115 entries so far.

Although this is a small early number, I think there will end up being well over 1000. Since the field for the M.E. is over 75% larger than last year, I expect the same for these events. Many bustouts from the M.E. are staying here through the weekend, and they will need something to keep them occupied.

Some had also questioned whether these were bracelet events. The tourney director let me know they are.

I was surprised by this as well. Seems like the whole thing should wrap up with the ME.

But as Gordon Gekko said, "Greed is good".

Thanks for the info, I figured there would be a lot of people in them because of the bracelet so was thinking 2000+.

Next year the Rio should make the $200 and $500 second chance tournaments bracelets.

Why? What's the difference between these events and event #2 for the same amount? They will likely have about the same field as well.

Pathetic? Just because they start after the main event? They are all ending well before the final table of the M.E., so the WSOP IS "wrapping up" with the main event.

Dumb comment.

how about a 10 cent turbo for a bracelet. That would draw 500,000 players.
