Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4SB, 2 players)

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5BB, 2 players)

OK. So I guess this would be right if he calls more hands than he bets, but I win against at least 1/6th of the hands he bets. Does that seem reasonable for certain villains?

"So I guess this would be right if he calls more hands than he bets"

this is a good start but there's more to it than that, it's also the composition of hands that he is betting or calling that matter. for example he might check behind with hands like 77 or 76, but bet with busted draws. I would check/call against most people here. if not that I'd check/fold. i would need a very solid read to bet/fold here -- I have a hard time believing just from looking at the action that this is a bluff, and it's a super thin value bet.

Seems like a real standard checkcall. I have no reason to put him on a worse ace enough for a bet to be better than letting him bluff a) with a ton of missed draws and b) at a "scare card" that people like to stab at.

jba,
you are right that the some of the hands villain calls with are better than the ones he bets. i think i would take my line against a player who bluffs when checked to with the correct frequency and who will value bet almost all one pair hands, but will call many A-high hands when i bet.

Sorry, I actually didn't have time to before and didn't realize I posted this. c/c or c/f the river. I lean towards a c/f.
