Default ($16) A7s call here ?

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t850)
UTG+1 (t5425)
CO (t1675)
Button (t1745)
SB (t2500)
Hero (t1305)

Preflop: Hero is in BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="red">UTG raises to t850 (All-in)</font>, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, SB calls t750, <font color="gray">Hero folds</font>

utg is solid multitabler. sb is a stupid piece of [censored] that the world could afford to lose. utg's range is probably A/xs or K/xs or any pp, the sb's call mucks it up. pretty sure this is an easy fold, just making sure.

Straight into the muck. Alternative scenario - do you call if UTG is your average 22er and SB folds?

SB's call rather than raise to isolate probably means strength. I wait for a better spot.

Fish don't know about isolation. They don't think about thinks like that.

I don't know if I agree. WSOP and WPT mention a lot of themes and plays. So I imagine they know about it, but often misapply it. A little knowledge is more dangerous than none.

Sorry for the hijack. I fold here, too.

A7s should be right at the bottom of your call range here even if SB folds since what I pushed (K9s) was at the bottom of my push range there. I don't even remember what happened on this hand, what he called with or the result, but I think you need to be calling close to 88+, AJ+ here. Does that seem too tight?

One hand before the blinds UTG has to make a move. Easy call if SB folds but in this case I fold.

According to SNGPT, yes. If you're pushing 20% here (33+,A4o+,A2s+,KJo+,KTs+), Hero should be calling with 18% (22+,A7o+,A4s+,KQo,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,T9s). With just over 4 BB I'd say that your range can't be much narrower than that. If you're pushing as little as 15% (which is about as tight as you should ever be here, even against a fairly wild table) calling with A7s would be neutral.
