Flop: (2.40 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises</font>, Hero calls. Turn: (3.20 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, Hero calls. River: (5.20 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Hero checks no read on the villain (PAHUD was turned off intentionally) but the table was fairly tight and passive. i was pretty sure i was beat on the turn. is the turn a fold or is this a showdown hand?

also i doubt checking or betting this river makes much of a difference. he might check behind with some Js and he'd probably raise a Q but likely wont 3-bet a check raise.
SO YOU KNOW ITS ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT JUST DOESNT MATTER IN THE END BB/100 = NULL

[/ QUOTE ] My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure how to determine if one option is slightly better than another.. If you donk the river and he has a straight, he will quite likely raise you thinking that all you have is a 9, and you may even get him to call a 3bet. Having him check behind would be the ultimate suck.
