Default TT @ Your Local 50/100

Sorry, no hand converter for this site, manual post *gasp*.

** I suspect both players are "pros" but I use the term loosely to define someone who sits in the game often and not to define their level of skill, which I think is mediocre+ (for this limit)

too fold out BU with a hand that perhaps was worth calling and you can easil fold to a 3-bet. I think the hand is fine.

Hero cold caps preflop, then button caps the flop 3-way, Hero c/r the turn, bets river and thinks our villain has 88,99 often enough?

You really think you are ahead often enough after button caps the flop and UTG is still in there calling to c/r the turn? Seems too much to me

After the button caps that flop, I would fold the turn.

PS: I deleted my earlier post, since I totally misread the action. Hope noone had time to read it...

AK?

With everyone in for three bets on the flop he caps the flop and bets the turn. He might possibly have something like a high nut FD (AhKh - AhQh?), but a high PP is much more probable.

On the turn to pot is already 12BB, but we are not winning here 1 time in 6-8 (to invest 2-3BB).

If Button has AK (which seems incredibly unlikely), why would we want to fold out UTG who likely will only fold hands that have overlapping outs?

it feels like button is gonna punish you with some aditional hands i think he'd need to be calling to make this profitable

that's just my gut feeling on this

the turn c/r is attempting to find profit when a.) utg has overcard(s) and we're ahead of button

if we get 3 punished we're typically folding w/o the fun of actually seeing villians cards

we're also losing value if utg has a lower pair, but we dont really want utg to come along for 1 bet with even one overcard, but certianly not two.

not that i did the math but this seems like a calldown to me
