River: (t1700) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t1000, SB calls t1000

For one on one and you hit a set are you suppose to check it or bet it? For the river how do I know what is the max bet he will call? What do you usally bet on the river? Since he called my turn raise you think he will call a all in?

i think in this case you should bet the flop ~200. If he has nothing youre not really gonna make money on this hand anyways. Since he's a big stack he might c/r so you can shove it or he might call you. In your case, I doubt he would call an allin on the river unless he had a six or overpair. I play the PP 11 and see ppl fold on the river after calling a turn raise
