Default Odds for online poker are not realistic.

Cant even tell you how many 95% favorites ive lost with in the last month. my won @ showdown has to be ~30% or so with 9-1 favorites or better.

sigh. why do i even play?

yes, i am whining, i have lost my last 4 95% favorites on the flop, either all in on the flop, or pot bet x2 and get outdrawn.

i think losing with 4 95% favorites in a row is worth whining about, each netting me -100 BBs

variance is one thing, but losing just about every 90-95% favorite on the flop is just stupid. if this were happening 10-20% of the time or less, sure no problem, but over 50% of the time? sorry, thats not realistic

I'm pretty sure you win them 90-95% of the time, just like the rest of us.

Matt,

We usually remember the most painful ones (with big losses). My guess is that if you actually did look in your database, you'd find that you were winning most of those that you were a 90-95% favorite to win. I believe you that it probably isn't all of them, but probability works that way. Eventually, it will be 90-95%, and there's nothing to do but suck it up until then.
