PS 3/6 Big Hand in Small Pot
UTG is very loose pre-flop, but doesn't seem as loose post-flop. He does not seem tricky so far, but I am new to the table. The SB hasn't played many hands and may be a thinking player.
Does anybody smooth call the turn because of the pot size? And do you prefer a river bet or check? Re: PS 3/6 Big Hand in Small Pot
I don't see how much you're going to gain by calling the turn. If you raise you make as much as if you smooth call and only 1 player calls the turn. If he's got a good draw or a decent hand he's not going anywhere for 2 bets anyway. On the river I check it down as you've probably got the best hand but won't get called with a worse one more than 50% I'm thinking.
