Default There\'s only one question we need the answer to.

If passed is this law enforceable? If yes, how so? If not, why not? Is enforcement as simple as forbidding Comcast, Aol, Earthlink, etc to grant us access to these sites? Or are the Internet service providers and hence the government, powerless to stop us from accessing these sites?

This is the equivalent of asking:

-What happens when we die?
-How will the world end?

Answer, we simply have no idea now-we can only make educated guesses which could be very wrong and you'll probably get all pissy if they are anyways, so why bother?

The law will be enforceable, and the government and the ISPs will be able to block your access to the poker sites.

Furthermore, given the fact that the government is now indicting foreign citizens for running online gambling sites with American customers, none of the major online poker sites will allow American customers to play there if this law passes for fear of being indicted and prosecuted. Hell, that's already happening, and the bill hasn't even become law yet.

Really? What sites are doing that? I would think that the loss of our business would be so great that they'd at least wait until the law went into effect.

Eurobet, PokerChamps, and others announced today that they will no longer be accepting American customers for fear of being prosecuted.

A few POS sites have gone down in the past 48 hours, all offer sportsbooks which is prob why they're going down.
