Finishing second tour in iraq need vacation ideas
I was suppossed to be home in Aug. and had a sweet bartending job lined up. Now I am stuck here until sep. and won't be out until October and won't have enough time before school starts in Jan. I have never been outside the u.s. except for military deployments. I plan on going in early November and can put down $1500-about $3,000. I plan on getting wild, but I don't want to just go someplace to drink and be stupid i.e. all of mexico. It would be nice if i can come up with someplace that doesn't require a passport but not a must. Card rooms are a plus but not required.

Props for serving our country. [/ QUOTE ] Seconded. [ QUOTE ] Go to Vegas! [/ QUOTE ] If I did 2 tours in Iraq I think I'd get a cabin on a mountaintop a hundred miles from anything and stay for as long as I could. |

vegas is a good idea. It is definitely under consideration. The mountain is appealing also but the problem comes down to women. Vegas involves paying and the mountain involves kidnapping. Happy mediums?

If you don't have a passport it's Mexico or Canada or the US, right?
Vancouver is a fun city with a decent cardroom and plenty tourist options from cultural stuff to getting drunk and stupid. Montreal is also super fun and has much better strip clubs. |

Thanks for your service man. I've heard that those all inclusive resorts in the Carribean absolutely rock. I think one or two of them are clothing optional.

epdog + strippers= ---Ev
what's the weather like in canada in November? Trying not to look like an eskimo even after a year in the desert. By the way, I'm 23, going to be going wherever by myself and have not seen women on a regular basis for the past 9 months. Even ugly ones. |

I agree with everyone in this thread. Thanks for serving the country, and go to Vegas.
Stay at either the Sahara or Aladdin. You'll feel at home there. |

If anyone deserves to have OOT buy them a hooker, it's this guy. BTW, if you go to Vegas, make sure to tell anyone and everyone you just came back from a second tour in Iraq. I can't really imagine a better thing to tell people that will get you "in". |
