Important \"secondary\" PT stats?
Beyond the usual VPIP/PFR/AF numbers, are there any other stats that we can look at to get a better read on Villains?
One thing I've seen discussed here from time to time is WTSD as an indicator of someone who will fold to c-bets vs. a calling station. Is there anything else? What about W$WSF? Does a higher-than-average number indicate something, or is that simply variance? Also, is there a way we can find out that someone is a set miner or nut peddler? If there's already a thread from the past on this topic, a link would be much appreciated. |

Re: Important \"secondary\" PT stats?
Set miners possess a low VPIP, usually in the teens or lower, accompanied with a low pfr usually of a single digit 5-4%.
Well, if you weren't sure about how to identify setminers, you might want to just look-up these stats in the help files of the programs used to collect them first and then ask some more detailed questions. |

Re: Important \"secondary\" PT stats?
The secondary ones I like a lot in PA (not all are in PT I think):
Fold to Cbet: if this is very high I'll in general give up when they do call. 4/5 6/8 are the low numbers to influence my play Cbet: only interesting when it's very low after about 8 or more. Cbet turn: Very good one. When a villain has this at 1 or 2 from 7 or so I will basically float any 2 on the flop in position. Takes some time before you have enough hands on villain to make this meaningful though. (Also check the c/r turn just to make sure) W$SD: if low valuebet, do not bluff. If high bluff, don't valuebet marginal hands |
