[/ QUOTE ] I've found if there's a raise and I'm on AA, an all-in here gets called about 80% of the time. However, I'm usually short when in this position (conincidence, that's all), so that's not a particularly good anecdote to apply if both your stacks are deep. |

yeah, we're both pretty deep. in a vacuum I *think* this is a fold, a close one. I'm less pissed at the fact that I made a slight mental error for almost 1.5 buyins, and more pissed that this guy got AA and decided the best move against a late position raiser was to take his 8 and make it 270. groan.

I realised I didn't explain myself well. If I have AA and a deep stack, I don't want to scare off the target, so wouldn't go that mad.
But when you're short, everyone thinks you're pulling some desperate move before preparing to rebuy or leave the table, so they'll call you. Hope that's a bit clearer. |
