LO8 Poker Tracker Stats
Hi there!
I am trying to evaluate my LO8 play in Poker Tracker, and was wondering if there are any accepted benchmarks for the Hi/Lo Won Hi, Hi/Lo Won Low, and Hi/Lo Scoop percentages? What are the "sweet spots" for those stats? I understand that there are no hard and fast rules, and that different strategies and game textures result in different optimal play, but I assume there are some ranges that successful players tend to congregate around. -Makonnen |

Re: LO8 Poker Tracker Stats
I think that those are the least important of the stats PTO is giving you. If you look at them REALLY hard you may find that youre going high too often or low too often (that for instance youre playing too many 2356 hands or 99TK hands) but honestly, this is not where the big leaks are.
As you point out, different games will lead to different results in these stats. In super loose passive games, you will tend to win/split the low far more often than the high. In tighter more aggressive games you will be winning the high more, and scooping more too. Get your other PTO stats in line, and dont worry about these. Words of wisdom from a player who has decided that he sucks at LO8, ha! |

I pick those, only because those are the ones I look at most often in NLHE--are those in line, and what else should I be looking at? -Makonnen |

Re: LO8 Poker Tracker Stats
Those are in line, others to look at are
Preflop Raise and how you are doing from various positions/if you are playing oop too much. |
