First of all, I'm not really looking for preflop comments. I raise here sometimes, I limp here sometimes, and the table dynamics were such that I decided to limp rather than open.
Villian and I had some history. He's called a lot of my flop c-bets and bet the turn when checked to. We haven't gotten involved like this in a limped pot yet, so the dynamic is somewhat different. Villian is 46/5 preflop, but more active postflop. I feel like his turn raise is almost always a hand and almost never a bluff. I haven't been multi-barrelling much, so he probably gives me some credit for some sort of hand. His AF is 1.6. I also give him credit for playing postflop better than an average donk, but still not amazingly. I feel like I could have raised a bit more here on the turn. Also, if villian pushes over my raise, what do you do? 2) This is a interesting river card. I could have just sucked out on a straight or am ahead of the flush that just got there, or I could now be behind to a bigger boat. FWIW, I feel like villian will almost always bet here if checked to unless he held QJ (but he will bet the straight/flush/boat if he's got it). I have about $22 behind. What is your river line? |

I think you push. It looks like he has a hand after the turn action so will most likely call, and you have to call if he pushes. I perfer to have my money in first. If villian has a straight and not a flush he may well check behind and with the paired board, I think that is his most likely course of action with that hand - perhaps even the flush.

raise PF and if you plan on 3betting the turn, it should be to 15-18 at least.
push river. he's not folding a straight - your hand doesn't look like a flush and the pot is too big anyway. the only hand he folds on the river is JQ, and JQ wasn't betting or calling much of anything anyway. |

What do you guys think the relative frequency of a straight vs two pair is given the action up to the river?
