So I just downloaded Partygammon. My first match I play is $.5/$5 and having no idea what I was doing, I managed to beat my opponent and increase my bankroll by $.92 just by selecting auto-roll and randomly clicking on white checkers. It wasn't till the end that I read you are supposed to get the checkers off the table, and with the goal in sight, the game was mine!

my mom was at her prime one of the best at this game.

she housed folks.

the only person to beat her (in a best of X series) to my knowledge (aka, in my lifetime...im sure she was beat numerous times prior) was a friend of mine from high school.

he was an absolute genius and in college, he and his roomate played backgammon WITHOUT moving the pieces. they'd roll like 20 times, and then just be able to remember where they would have put the pieces and put them there and continue 20 rolls deep.

this kid beat my mom 4/7.

also, my mommy is the bestest scrabbler. avg score per game >400.

ty ty, I knew I was born with the innate ability to have god-like skills at any game I play. Looks like backgammon is no different.

I promised not to tell but I feel I need to for your own good. You are the equivalent of a poker donkey when it comes to backgammon, and the entire backgammon community licks their chops when you enter one of their games. Please save your bankroll and stick to poker.

i only played 2 games, and i've used gnu backgammon before. but almost every game above microlimits has sharks and bots, just ask bill robertie.

9-2 1568 +~$20, not keeping track of rake. I find this really refreshing when I may go on tilt.

However, I will never play for serious money because:

1. Rake is impossible to beat
2. BG software is too readily available
3. I suck compared to good people

Just doing it for fun
