2 pair - a little lost
utg is 30/1/1. mp is unknown.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($664) Button ($203) SB ($247.10) BB ($691.90) UTG ($543.90) MP ($123.90) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Re: 2 pair - a little lost
He's either drawing or has a monster. I doubt he calls this though. I prolly would check.

Re: 2 pair - a little lost
I like how you played this. I think AX of diamonds A3 or a big draw are his most likely holdings, other possible but less likely holdings are k9 and aq/aj/a10 if he is passive. His turn call probably means he will call your bet if he had hand ( AXd will prob fold but he has other made hands enough to make those calls more profitable IMO)
edit- just looked at his stats you provided, AK is a definite possibility but i still make same river bet |

Re: 2 pair - a little lost
Looks fine.
Just push river, though. It's not as scary as betting exactly his stack. |

Re: 2 pair - a little lost
sorry, was counting your stack and wondered why you left $100ish.
i think by the nature of a push it gets called more than the bet you made. i play on a different site so take it as you will. |

Re: 2 pair - a little lost
Yeah if I'm putting someone else all-in HU, I just push myself. The only time I'll bet exactly their stack is if I'm bluffing and it's a player I've never played with before. A move I actually like to do as a bluff is bet all of their stack except for $0.01, like if they had $300 left and I was bluffing I'd bet $299.99 cause it looks like a mean, salt-in-the-wound, value bet.
A lot of players have some pretty nasty tells when it comes to betting exactly their opponent's stack vs. pushing. Ok enough of that rant, I thought the hand was played fine. |

how terrible is a check on the end? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think it's terrible, but I think that there is definitely value in a river bet. |
