Default updike reading in cambridge 6/29

John Updike is making an appearance at the Harvard Book Store (not affiliated with the Univ.) in Cambridge, MA, on June 29th. I'm surprised a writer of his stature is touring, and I'll definitely try to attend.

Honestly, how many of his books have you read? I tried to read a couple of the Rabbit books but couldn't make it longer than 40 pages.

Terrorist is the first books of his that I have read and so far (70 pages in) it is great. I can't wait to pick up another book of his.

Funny - I thought Rabbit books, my intro to Updike, rocked. Then again I am an old fart, so it is all pretty relevant to me and my peer group. Also he prepared me for the Red Wings thread, so i only threw up in my mouth a little when I read it.

Edit: furiously corrects spelling in literature thread lol
