Default ***Official Netherlands vs Côte d Ivoire Thread***

I'm excited to watch the Netherlands play again. I thought their first game with Serbia was one of the best of the Cup so far.

I haven't seen Côte d Ivoire play yet, but the bookies have them pretty evenly matched. How good is Côte d Ivoire?

they were great against argentina. i think this match will be a lot of fun to watch, and has the potential to go either way (although obviously netherlands are the favorite).

should be a lot of offense.

I thought Netherlands looked great in game 1, IC looked good but had flaws that were too much to overcome in beating Argentina.

it's a more critical game for IC to win - especially if Argentina wins the morning game.

They've got some really special players. Kolo is a world beater defence and has had a great season, I love the guy's commitment, he's going to be one of the world's best IMO. Arsene Knows. Yaya and Zokora are being chased by pretty much everyone across europe and no matter how much I hate the bloke, Drogba does a good job for them upfront. I watched a lot of the ANC and they looked good if not great as a team and it should be a great match but I think Holland will nick it. Hopefully with a RVP goal.

Unless both teams win tomorrow then it won't be nearly as good.

very good matchups on paper, but all 4 teams will probably be into round 2 once those games occur, so unless winning the group is crucial, they may just choose to play at a nice pace and rest the stars.
