Default Party 30-60 Attempted Bluff

HI, I"m new here and I thought I would post a hand I recently played.

everyone folds to LP who limps, CO limps, I'm in SB with 8c 8h and I call, and BB checks

4 players to Flop: Qh Ac 5s

Everyone checks

Turn: 2s

I check, BB checks, LP bets, CO folds, and I C/R trying to represent an A because I don't think anyone has anything. I figure the LP is trying to buy the pot.

BB folds, and LP calls.

Was this a reasonable play or not? And if so what's my course of action for the river?

Thanks!

I think I'd raise PF, and I doubt this is a bluff as your hand is probably good a lot. I also doubt you get credit for an ace unless you normally check it twice.
