Company policy on replacement cards- Copag, new KEM, etc
I've sent out emails to various companies to determine what replacement card policies they may have. I will update this as I get replies.
So far, the best bet seems to be for you to go to the company that sold you your cards and see what they can do- you might even get replacements for free. Your next best bet might be to check here: Home Poker replacement thread |

Copags
"Copag does have a card replacement guarantee and we honor that guarantee. To get a replacement card send us a self addressed stamped envelope with $2 or you may use paypal and send $3 to orders@copags.com. Be sure to include the design of the card, color, index size, card size, card value, and suit. Also, before you send payment, email us to make sure we have your requested card in stock.
The mailing address is Copags.com 161 Shoreview Dr. Longview, TX 75605" [NOTE- I've sent a follow up request, because 30% of a regular deck's cost for ONE card seems excessive] |

Interesting. It never would have occured to me that a playing card company might do this. [/ QUOTE ] I'm sure Kardwell (original KEMs) did it to make it worthwhile for people to invest in their $30 setups. If you could damage a card in a few games by accident, you wouldn't want to be out $30. The $1 replacement policy was a good idea and was probably just copied by other 100% plastic card manufacturers. |
