stupid ugly gross AA
villain is 32/11/5.5.
I've certainly repped a big pair, and he certainly looks like he can beat it. the plan was to dump on the turn, but the bet was so small, and I feel like I've been too quick to dump big pairs. Then the river....another small bet, and the river counterfeits 56, which is a real possibility.... thoughts? Re: stupid ugly gross AA
after a limper minraises you on a low board in a 5-way raised pot? No better hands fold or worse hands call.

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
This is fine. If button or bb calls flop and then he minraises, we can dump right there. Also if he bets stronger on turn or river, we can definitely fold. To the other guy, pushing turn is retarded.

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
Not sure why you'd push the turn...unless you're trying to make sure his note on you says "overplays overpairs." I think your line is fine as you're WA/WB here.

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
I can fold the AA a lot of times when it goes to flop 4 handed and this action occurs, but not against these stats. He's aggressive post flop, but with his pre flop stats doesnt look like hes great, maybe some misapplied post flop agg.
Anyway, want to see this hand get even uglier? I dont hate a mini rr of his c/r on flop. If he has the 98/67, thats very possible, its tough for him to get away from it, as its "just a mini-raise." |

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
This has got to be 87 from anyone halfway decent
Occasionally a set Villain would have to be pretty bad for you to be ahead here. |

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
villian is Very Agro.. I think calling down given his bet sizes is ok.

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
How should we have played the turn if the flop had been 2-tone and the betting action had been the same? And does it matter if we have the ace of that suit?

Re: stupid ugly gross AA
I like it. Villain is aggro and you got yourself priced in with a "showdownable" hand. You only have to be good ~1 of out 6 times to make the river call.
