Default Router causes lag while playing poker

Hi,
I'm using D-Lind DI-624 router to split the internet between my 2 laptops and my desktop. Everything is fine but sometimes an annoying lag appears when I play poker - it stops for something like 10 - 20 second as if there was no internet connection, but in fact the connection is fine as I can open any website in a browser. The problem occurs only when I play poker - I haven't had any problems with other internet activities. The problem occurs both on my laptops which are connected to the router via Wi-Fi as well as on my desktop connected by a cable. The problem dissappears when I connect to the internet directly (without router).

Any idea what may be causing this ?

A lot of things could be causing the problem - bad firmware, bad router, or your ISP is dropping packets to the Party servers.

That router sucks, so I'd get a Linksys WRT54GS.
