Default Pokerstars WSOP accomodation

When registering online I noticed that the accomodation section of the form has a non-mandatory field to express a "sharing with" preference.

Can anyone confirm whether the accomodation that Stars provides for is on a shared basis, or each player gets his own room?

Thanks a lot

Why does everyone run here with questions that you should ask support.

You get to room with Joe Hachem's buddies yelling "Aussie Aussie Aussie, OY OY OY" all day and night long....

(ok, honest answer - one player to a hand, or room...)

Maybe that's why they call this a forum. People come here with questions, other people answer them, or share their experience.

Maybe support will say that accommodations must be shared, but ask here, and several people will say they have a private room. So you go back to support and say, everybody else is getting a private room, I want one too.

See how that works?

Yea, thanks I know what a forum is for, but I don't post questions that support obviously has the best answer to and will likely respond before anybody meaningful response in a thread.

Stars knows what they are doing and responds quickly.

You probably would have heard back from them within 15 mins.

I think the OP was trying to become a bit better informed for leverage purposes before calling support. If you want to buy a car, the first thing you do is go to the dealership? I mean, after all, they'd have all the answers you need, right?

Yes, but in my experience Stars support does not lie or try to rip you off in any way.

Thanks everybody.

Stars support has been quite slow in getting back to me lately, and this query is no exception.

Several people have responded here on the forum, while I haven't heard from stars yet, a few hours after writing.

I thought that maybe someone here might have had the information, which is instrumental for my decision on whether to go for the stars-arranged accomodation or the cash alternative.

it's possible that the 'sharing with' thing is just for you to put down the name of your wife or GF if you are bringing them along.

I qualified via Stars last year. They (and almost every other site to my knowledge) don't make you room with anyone. They give you your own room.
