Default shorthanded AQo nice draw at Turning Stone

it's the big game-- 300 minimum, uncapped, 5/10 with 20 bring-in.
four-handed. i've been killing and sit on about 11k. villain has slightly less than 2.5k.
he opens to 50 on button. i make it 175 from SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. He calls after a brief thought.
Flop is K J 8 all [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I lead 325. He makes it 800. I push him in, ~1300 more or so.

Standard?

Yea I think that is fine. The ace is probably good for 3 extra outs. Rarely are you going to be less than a 40/60 here and the pot odds are good.

I doubt your A is good, but considering his stack, folding and calling both seem horrible, so that seems like the best play

I disagree wpr101, I think his most likely hand here is AK. You have great fold equity against AK, and have a lot of outs if he has a set of jacks or possibly 8s.

There is huge fold equity. If villain has AK, he has no spades. So there is the distinct possibility that he is drawing to runner runner outs. It is very difficult for villain to call 1300 more with AK here.
