Default Internet Poker down

Really hope someone can help me out, this is catastrophic for me. Whenever I try to open a program (partypoker, pokerstars, etc.) I get the hourglass for a little bit then nothing happens (client doesn't open). This is true for all internet gambling programs, be it absolute, partypoker, or william hill. Has this happened to anyone else, and what can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you access the websites of the respective poker sites?

How exactly is your network setup?

Is this a home network or a work network?

Did you try a reboot? You would be surprised how often that fixes Windows problems.
