NO gets AS game?
The NBA just announced that New Orleans will get the 2008 AS game. Considering the owner isn't even sure the team will play there full time that year - this move seems like a bad decision. NO even had bad attendance before Katrina (14K/game). The NO owner was just saying how discouraged he is with the lack of progress in rebuilding the city. It sure doesn't sound like he's convinced that NO is better than OKC. IS the NBA just trying to create some goodwill by throwing the city a bone? Than again, the AS game could be played in a city that doesn't even have a team that year.
