Message from PokerStars after cashout
I had a relatively decent sized transfer into my Pokerstars account from unmentionable. It's not actually very big, but over $1,000. Here's what they sent me via email:
After review of your latest cashout, it has come to our attention that all of the funds that you cashed out came directly from a transfer that you received on 5/13/2006. We assure you that we are not implying any wrong doing, however, as players who transfer funds to others normally do this so that the person who receives the transfer(s) can play at the tables and not simply receive a transfer and then immediately cash it out, we would appreciate an explanation as to why you cashed out most of the funds transferred to you. It is standard procedure to require an explanation when this type of situation occurs. Once we receive your reply and this matter has been resolved, your cashout will be processed as soon as possible. Thank you for your co- operation. Regards, Raul PokerStars Security Any advice? I haven't played a hand on Pokerstars in a few months. |

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
What's wrong with telling them the truth (just saying someone owed you money)?

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
I agree with this, just tell them you were owed money and ask how many hands you need to play to cash it out. Your money is not in danger of being confiscated, they just want some action and dont want to be used as a bank.

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
Meh. Don't screw with PokerStars. Like Addict said, they're not a frikken bank. All you're doing screwing with the (free) p to p transfers for everybody.
If you're going to get your affiliate payments there, at least give them some action. Or, if you don't want to play there, get your payments somewhere else. Stars has no reason to pay your Neteller fees for you. |

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
yeah i've had a few of my transfers flagged by pokerstars. the first few times i told them i was just settling a debt, and they just passed it through and said don't do it again. the last time i did it though, they just reversed the cashout and returned the money to the person who transferred it in the first place.
i'd definitely recommend not getting your payments through stars though. |

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
there are lots of sites you can do transfers and it is a good idea to make sure the site you pay or receive money at gets some play. UB is quite fussy about the playing, so it party and now stars too...the ultra fast stars cashouts have made it quite popular with many for rebate payments.

Re: Message from PokerStars after cashout
In my experience, playing a few hands before cashing out will stop them from emailing you.
