Default TT on the Bubble

20/180. 24 left, and 18 make it ITM. UTG has been calling and raising too much PF. Don't know anything about BB.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com

Hero (t11855)
MP1 (t10053)
MP2 (t7818)
CO (t11391)
Button (t4262)
SB (t18768)
BB (t33874)
UTG (t6696)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls t600, Hero raises to t2400, 5 folds, BB calls t1800, UTG calls t1800.

Flop: (t6950) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks,

This is always really hard for me, especially when the J is a K.

I guess I close my eyes and shove.

You can check, but you're going to hate 12 cards that hit the turn, but you'll often have all the info you need if you see what they do on the turn too. Or bet something like 1/2 pot so that something worse than a J is more likely to call you, naturally call if someone puts you AI. People are so afraid to check, I see nothing wrong w/ checking behind here, if the next card is lower than a T then I'll probably fold if the BB leads, call if UTG bets and bet if it's checked to me.

Edit: Wow, I didn't realize UTG was so short, this is a pretty bet on the flop. I bet 1/2 to 2/3 pot and call if BB raises me AI. If UTG was deeper, there's a better case for checking the flop.

Got any history on both villains? do they have a tendency to c/r - I think I'd preffer having a K high flop in this situation but w/e you're safe more than half the time with TT here.

I would say c-bet this for 3500, but that's about 1/2 your chips, so you might as well push for a little FE.

I push this. As Mike Sexton would say, "If one of these guys has a jack, well, good luck to 'em."
