Default Headphone Jack broken... what do I do.

I have a [censored] old laptop. The headphone jack got broken last year and now my computer wont play sound because it thinks headphones are plugged in. How do I override this and just let music play from my general speakers? Techies?

I'll be very surprised if there's a feasible solution to this. However, I'd be psyched to hear it, so I'm bumping the thread.
