calling a raise to go all in with KT with small stack is it right?
My thoughts were that I was behind, but the blinds and antes add up to 725 and that paying 925 to win around 2500 was worth it. Is this an instant call for most of you or should I wait for the button next hand. I obviously want the BB to fold here, but how often do you think the BB will call and check it down with the button?

This looks pretty bad to me. You still have some FE, why would you want to get involved with a crap hand here.

I put opponent on a range of the top 15% of hands and I will win aroun 37% of the time. Due to the large pot I figured it was worth it, but I questioned the play and that is why i'm posting it.

i think with the pot odds it might make sense numbers wise...but it's still bad. Especially when you have 3 free hands coming.

I now think this move was a mistake and in the long run will lose me more money than folding.

[/ QUOTE ] i don't think the opponent will be on a range as small as that, and i think your call is very good. i think that thinking you have folding equity is a big mistake. i dunno, if it's wrong to fold here it can't possibly be by much. ps it's not the bubble. c |

He has some FE. I've seen plenty of people with a healthy stack in the 27's folding to a little above minraise all in. Obviously they shouldn't, but they still do some of the time.

passing on a potentially very correct call because you "might" have some folding equity with a worse hand is not a great idea.

SNPT says it's about even EV for a range of 22+,A2+,K9o+,K6s+,QJo,Q9s+,JTs (28%) Doesn't this range seem too large? (this is a 27 stars turbo and I don't give my opponents that much credit for raising with hands in the bottom of this range)

But then I thought, "Cit is not crazy," and I looked at the OP again. I also call here with the 200/400 blinds. |
