Default Strategic Betting Strategy

I know there has been many books written on "beating the house" threw proper betting strategies...capitalizing the most on your winnings during your winning sessions(threw aggressive betting) and minimizing your losses during your losing sessions(threw weak betting)...
...does anyone have experience using betting strategies similar to this...and if so...please outline the betting system...what game it is typically used for...and declare whether or not it truly works...THANK YOU

a) 'threw' = "Bob threw the ball". 'through' = "You can understand Expected Value through mathematics."

b) If each of your plays are -EV (and they are), then it doesn't matter how much you bet on any given play. Even if the amounts you bet are dependent on previous wins/losses.

EV[X+Y+Z] = EV[X]+EV[Y]+EV[Z] < 0.

There aren't any winning betting strategies at -EV games. I promise.

Are you also saying that those books are a waste of money, a good-for-nothing scam?

Books that tout a "system" are worse than worthless - they are -EV in and of themselves. Trust all the posters who are telling you, "NO SYSTEM ERASES THE HOUSE EDGE".

I may be wrong, but I think all strategies are strategic. Feel free to provide examples of any non-strategic strategies.

OP, i have found this strategy to work for roulette.

i begin betting double the table minimum on black.

if i go up 5 bets, i double my bets and repeat.

if i go down 5 bets, i cut my bet in half.

if i go down 5 bets at the table minimum i make one bet equal to the total size of my losses. if this loses i bet double that on the next hand. once i win a hand and am back to even i repeat from the beginning.

good luck, but you won't need it.
