Default 200NL AA vs suited flop

I feel like I played this hand pretty optimally, is there anything I should have done different? Also, I instacalled the flop reraise, should I have actually considered him having me beat?

Raise way more pre-flop. I'd probably make it $25 or more.

I check/call this flop, and then push any turn if he bet, bet/call a push if he checked. (I would be happier with this line if we had made a re re-raise pre)

Most of the hands that want to get it in against you here have 40%+ equity on you, and you really don't want to get it in against that range.

Sure, sometimes you fold the best hand, but oh well. It's a gamble, but I think the payoff for getting it in on a clean card (and KK/QQ are still never going away, NFD might not either) is much better.

Don't post results.

Thanks for the analysis.

2 Questions though:

1.)About the PF reraise, dont I want a single garbage caller, such as A10o? I would have raised more with 2 callers but didn't really want to scare this one out.

2.) If I check/call the flop, and a blank falls on the turn, shouldn't I push so as not to give him a chance to check and see a free (potentially devestating) card?

cowy,

your preflop thinking is hugely flawed. the value you are getting from trashy hands like ATo is far surpassed by the value of villains holding hands like 87o and 54s and TT that now easily have the odds to call in position to hopefully hit a good flop and stack you.

reraise stronger with your big hands. mix it up, obvsiously, but you are gonna get action over time. dont be afraid of losing your business or "scaring people out". that leads to $30 pots with a lot of money behind ($170) out of position where you are letting your opponent outplay you.

furthermore the smallish reraise tends to transmit to thinking opponents that you have a monster unless seen otherwise. thats another thing.

I think it's like 50/50 it's a gimmick account.

you should move down about two levels

nope, no gimmick. huge donk i guess.

i had been running really hot at 1/2 for about a week but i may have involuntarily changed my play. also a lot of luck may have been involved.

edit: also, thanks for being a jerkoff

I wasn't really trying to be a dick, I really thought it was a gimmick account.

Insta-calling this flop is a leak, as well as your raise preflop. Try to make all your raises and reraises about the pot size preflop

Yes, which is why I said you should do that in my other post.
