new computer set up, plz help

k, so I figured my computer's been too old and too slow. I want a new computer with Dell 30 wide screen lcd monitor for me to 16 tabling. I'm talking about a whole new desktop. I personally run a lot of programs simultaneously so I assume I'd at least need 2 or 3 GB of rams. What else do I need to get this hooked up right? Thanks guys. Money isn't really a problem by the way.
