Default TPGK: Confused once again

Almost identical situation occured yesterday when I had AK.
Do you see reason for a fold here? If you continue in the hand whats your play on later streets being OOP? VILLIANS standard preflop raise is 4xbb. Also, as a side note, does anyone ever check this flop considering it is so dry?

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $133.42
Hero (BB): $145.53
UTG: $43.75
MP: $53.60
CO: $100.00
BTN: $88.60

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO raises to $4.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $3.00

Flop: ($8.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)

easy 3bet pf. as played, I much prefer to just check the flop rather than leading.

I 3bet pre-flop.

As played I'd check call flop.

I don't like the 1/2 pot lead unless you're trying to induce a raise in which case it's an easy call. This is such a good board for him to cbet bluff on if you check.

oh and I 3-bet PF all day.

Why did you put out a 'pleath rathe me' bet if you didn't want a raise and intend to call?

Open up your reraising range. AQs is too strong to not reraise OOB. Why do you lead the flop? Against what kind of possible holding do you want to protect your hand? The flop contains no draws, so let Villain continue with a CB. As played, you have to fold now without reads.

The 3BET PF never even occured to me here. However once the hand was completed I immediately recognized that the check-call line was clearly the correct choice (as most of you have stated). As played however, I have little invested so far and the pot looks to be getting out of hand,
this is a fold . . .?

I think you should call, you induced a raise with your weak donkbet.
