Re: 50NL Minraised on turn w/ trips
He didn't raise PF so the chance that he is holding a high ace is lower, particularly after so many limpers before him.I think the most likely hands for the villain are suited connectors or Ax, both diamonds. His minraise could be some elaborate donk bluff representing the flush, but i think it is likely that he did hit the flush.
I would call and re-evaluate on the river, hoping to make my full house. |

Re: 50NL Minraised on turn w/ trips
I'm thinking he most likely either made his flush or he also has 6x (and, if so, hopefully it's not A6 or K6). I suppose a hand like KhQd is also possible, but I'm not particularly happy about this situation.
Anyway, I would call for now, but I'm expecting Villain to bet enough on the river that I'm folding UI. It sucks, but I think the most frequent "good" result you'll get from a calldown is a chop. Which would be worth about $11 to you on the river, so Villain's bet size on that street is something to take into consideration. |
