Default Forged Iron question?

I just bought the Callaway Projext X pro series irons fitted 3 degrees upright. I had used Genex irons cavity backed for 10 yrs prior. My game is now a healthy 6 cap and felt some custom clubs where the way to go. Well I have had to adjust big time on my 6-9 irons as the feel is way different and the distance I was used to has changed is that normal?

I don't know the answer to your question, but am curious how much added distance you are getting with your irons? Is the 3 degree upright setting new for you with this set?

Yes I had cavity backed which I could not custom fit like the Callaway. What I find is with my shorter irons like an 8 iron..before I would fly 160-170yds now it is 155-165 and a different ball flight. But my longer irons 3-5 have increased by a lot. My 3 iron I flew in a no wind situation 220yds and it was a great ball flight where as before would max out @ 205yds. In terms of feel by far these Callaway's are awsome just going to take time to get used to is all.
