2 QQ Hands
Both fairly standard and common situations, having trouble staying at a full table for more than 10 mins so no reads.
Hand 1: Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 6 players Converter Stack sizes: Hero: $57.80 UTG+1: $50 CO: $40.65 Button: $46.20 SB: $31.25 BB: $54.75 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero raises to $2, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, BB calls. Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($6.25, 3 players) BB checks, Hero bets $4, UTG+1 calls, BB folds. Turn: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($14.25, 2 players) Hero? Here I wasnt sure wether to to bet & fold to a raise (default if it wasnt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]) or to check fold. In the actual hand I check called but I think this was the worst option available. Opinions? Hand 2: Full Tilt Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.25/$0.50 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $21.25 UTG+1: $55.80 CO: $20.45 Button: $83.50 Hero: $70.40 BB: $23.65 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $6, BB folds, UTG+1 raises to $20, Hero ?? This is a fairly common situation and with reads I think I handle it ok, villain had appeared aggro 30/20 but only over about 30 hands so reluctantly folded it, I'd happily raise it to 20 but not call it oop, is this a standard fold and what do you look for to make this a call / push? |

Re: 2 QQ Hands
The first hand to me is a bet/fold.
I push a lot with the second hand, and see JJ and AK almost as often as AA and KK. To just call this(which is usually bad), you have to be playing way deeper than you so you can play for set equity. |

Re: 2 QQ Hands
Hand 1- check/fold that card hits him >50% of the time.
Hand 2- EZ fold |
