Default Charts for tracking Sports Betting - Feedback please?

(Just so everyone knows, I've cleared this with the sports betting moderator here at 2+2, Performify. Thanks for not crucifying me!)

Hey y'all:

I've developed bet tracking software that is designed to help sports bettors analyze their bets for strengths and weaknesses. It's pretty much pokercharts (back when they were free) and a small bit of pokertracker added in, but sports betting.

It's also a great way for you to show your betting progress to others, since it gives you a comprehensive analysis of your bets.

It's available for free at http://www.sagestats.com/

The software is designed to help bettors analyze their betting portfolios for faults and for strengths. In this way, you can cut out the fundamentally unprofitable portions of your betting portfolio and increase the weights on the portions of your portfolio that are making you money.

What you do is record your bets with the site after making the bet at an online sportsbook. The software on the site then performs analysis on these bets, the results of which can be found on the 'my stats' page. From here, you can dissect and analyze your betting portfolio from many different angles.

We designed the process to enter bets to be really easy and intuitive…or so we think. It’s designed the way that most sportsbooks work, with one little wrinkle. The dropdown menus for the various bets possible on a game are our invention. Let us know what you think, please?

It’s also really easy to share your stats with other people. Check out mine or someone else’s.

So I was wondering if y’all could do me a favor? Check out the site and let us know what you think? Try things out. Create an account (it’s FREE), enter some bets, get them analyzed. Play around with the site.

Heck. The tournament starts tomorrow; maybe try the software out with your bets for the NCAA Basketball Playoffs?

Really, let us know anything that you think about the site: layout? Design? Ease of Use? Relevance of the data? My face? Anything.

Don’t be afraid to be mean. The site was designed to be as easy to use as possible and (more importantly) as helpful as possible, showing you were your leaks are with sportsbetting and showing you what you do well.

To give us feedback, you can either post in this thread, PM me directly, or use our feedback page to let us know what you think.

Thanks a bunch, guys!

Edited the subject to make it more descriptive, which I think will get more people looking at this thread.

As ensign_lee mentioned, I did approve this posting. He's put together what I think could be a good offering for sports bettors, its free (and according to ensign_lee, should be free forever, he's probably going to go to a voluntary donation model), and he's honestly looking for feedback from many sets of eyeballs.

Thanks for posting this.

I screwed around with it for a few minutes and have one question. If the current line is different than the line I bet, is there a way for me to manually enter the line?

Great site.

I wonder if you would add BetUS to your list of sportsbooks? (Mansion, CaribSports, Matchbook, 5Dimes come to mind)

We're working on that. Unfortunately, it won't be available for a while yet, as we're not sure how to integrate that into the software yet.

Plus, parlays are suckers bets anyway. Vegas streets are paved with parlaymoney.

Thanks for the appreciation. )

Actually, the software is designed so that only the line available right now (or in the last few minute) is what you can record. This is to validate your bets against what is currently available, so that you have increased betting credibility when you show your bets off to others.

So unfortunately, no.

However, we will be rolling out a way for you to enter bets at other books soon (including ones that we might not have on the site), so that should be able to solve your problems.

We're currently programming to be able to add more books to the site.

Also, for books that we may not have up, we're also currently programming a way for you to be able to enter your bets into an 'ss' book, which will then validate the bet that you entered to make sure it is available somewhere. This will help with mansion and matchbook (since they're exchanges, we haven't quite figured out a way to deal with that yet), as well as other books that we may not have up.

Also, completely off topic, I'd recommend you start playing at another book that isn't BetUS. They're known to stiff their players.
