Taking it to the next level
I'm a scratch golfer who's pretty strong in all areas...I get a free lesson today, what should I think about working on trying to take my game to the next level?

Re: Taking it to the next level
I think you should learn how to play consistent over 4 days and enter a qualifier and go pro...and when interviewed thank 2+2 for all the help

Re: Taking it to the next level
You have to have a weak point, if you don't think you do you have to look closer. Saying your game is all around solid is vague, because it probably is compared to a 10 handicap, but you have to know your weaknesses.

I would take an overall lesson and ask the pro where your weak spots are.

Re: Taking it to the next level
Well, not really because I'm very very very consistent. My SD for rounds played is probably +/-2 strokes for my cap on a course. I honestly think my weak point is not knowing how to THINK about the game like a pro would, but I don't think I could learn that from this teacher...
So, I was wondering if anyone knew a particular skill that might elevate my game, given that there aren't any glaring holes in my game. |

Re: Taking it to the next level
Have a playing lesson with a pro.
Why you should not hit driver here, why you should aim left of this pin etc... |

[/ QUOTE ] As has already been said, you have glaring holes in your game even if YOU can't see them. I could give you two a side and win more often than not and I admittedly have several GLARING holes in my game. Everybody has glaring holes, even tour players. BO |

Do you have a pre shot routine? Do you ALWAYS follow it?
