200 deep w/ overpair on drawy board - POT CONTROL???
Villain is ~new, 52/16/2 after 25h.
I've been doing pretty good at the table and getting lots of folds w/ my frquent c-bets. My reasoning for checking the turn was pot control and deception. My plan was to call any PSB or smaller on the river... almost no matter the next card. I figured this wasn't a bad turn to check through, since the actual flop wasn't incredibly draw heavy. IDK - suggestions? keikiwai,
what worse hands do you think c/r the turn? what worse hands do you get value out of on the river that fold on the turn? |

what worse hands do you think c/r the turn? [/ QUOTE ] basically, none that I can think of... [ QUOTE ] what worse hands do you get value out of on the river that fold on the turn? [/ QUOTE ] top pair, but that's not folding the turn... so none... yeah, probably not a good spot for this..... |

In position, I'd probably bet the turn and be prepared to muck to a meaningful raise.
