Default 200 deep w/ overpair on drawy board - POT CONTROL???

Villain is ~new, 52/16/2 after 25h.

I've been doing pretty good at the table and getting lots of folds w/ my frquent c-bets.

My reasoning for checking the turn was pot control and deception. My plan was to call any PSB or smaller on the river... almost no matter the next card.

I figured this wasn't a bad turn to check through, since the actual flop wasn't incredibly draw heavy.

IDK - suggestions?

keikiwai,

what worse hands do you think c/r the turn?

what worse hands do you get value out of on the river that fold on the turn?

In position, I'd probably bet the turn and be prepared to muck to a meaningful raise.
