Sabermetric Defensive rankings
I have a few question about them.
Which defensive rankings do you think are the most accurate? How accurate are the defensive rankings as a whole? Does anyone have a link to 2007 defensive rankings? |

Re: Sabermetric Defensive rankings
UZR and Probabilistic Model of Range, in that order, imo.
EDIT: As for their accuracy and validity, there's no real definitive way to compare them, so it's a matter of preference. UZR is probably the most robust. |

You think they are better than The Fielding Bible's?

"Evaluating the evaluators"
Comparing Fielding Stats... The best consistently updated fielding info I know of is hardballtimes' RZR/OOP numbers. |

Thanks a lot for the links. This is awesome. I'd imagine there's a lot of variance with these stats though. Right?
