Default PP no.1: JJ river decision

Above all, villain is passive. He doesn't raise enough pf and is a weee too loose otherwise.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $1/$2

Converter

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
2 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, BB folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (7SB, 4 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls.

Turn: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5.5BB, 4 players)
Hero bets, 2 folds, MP3 calls.

River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (7.5BB, 2 players)
Hero bets...

What do you think about the river bet? Will a passive, on a relatively dry board like this call with AT, A9, 88 often enough?

Also, is the turn a b/c or a b/f? Or a b/c if we'll end up HU but a b/f if we'll be 3- or more ways on the river?

the real question is will be check behind a weak K.

against passives, I b/f the turn.

on the river, I'm torn between c/c and b/f. I'm really fearing a K here. Have you seen him call down with less than top pair?

against a passive guy, b/f the turn. River bet is pure profit cause he could be calling down with a pair of 2's. It's an obvious b/f against a passive guy.

This is a pretty standard value bet.

Definitely good on the river. A bet here will be right more than it's wrong against LP's.

The very definition of Loose and passive is checking and calling too often w/ poor hands. This is why you almost always bet for value in these situations.
