3.4 PS Alternate play?
Nobody had been out of line at this table, pretty much ABC. Three pocket aces hands in a row had really slowed the action. Is there a better alternative to my play?

Nope I don't think so. The push is fine.

Re: 3.4 PS Alternate play?
Easy Shove. You played fine. Your M is about 4.5 so, even seven handed, you can shove with a much wider range than 10s +, especially at a tight table.

Why is it not appliable to STT's? |

Why is it not appliable to STT's? [/ QUOTE ] Many sites dont incorporate antes into their STT structure, but even the ones that do, like stars, dont have ante at t150 so M is largely overvalued in the cases in which there are no antes. Also, M may factor in "players left" but does not factor in the changing dynamic of tournament equities that an STT has, such as bubble play. Thining in BB's is typically more straightforward and allows you to make sure youre paying more attention to specific stack sizes, as often times in SNGs 1bb can make all the difference in certain spots. OP, there is literally no other move except pushing here, ever. |
