I don't really know how to peel this without wanting to get to showdown and I honestly can't say I want to get to showdown.

It sucks but fold flop

People almost never will raise for a free card in a blind battle so ignore that situation. The OESD's all include a T which you have two of which makes them half as likely, and to 2/3 pairs your drawing to 2 outs.

If you went to showdown youd be paying 5SB for 11SB and you're equity isn't nearly that good against most opponents.
Not to mention if he plays his position right he can give you even worse odds.

I'd probably fold but I disagree that people won't raise here without a hand. I get raised "to slow me down" ALL THE DAMN TIME and it usually works, too, I am not going to bet the turn OOP when I get raised on a flop like that. If he checks behind on the turn, that usually means semi-trickily played monster or not much.

But like I said, I'd fold. I don't think you're good often enough to pay to see a river.

A hand he could have that you beat would be QT. However, since you have TT, that hand is not too likely. That fact alone may push this into the fold category.

Otherwise, I would call because there are some good cards that can come and give us an OESD, plus the BB might check behind on the turn, revealing that he has Ace high or is on some kind of straight draw. An ace could come on the turn and BB could check behind scared, allowing us to hit our hand on the river for free.

I disagree that his flop raise means your hand is dead. He could have A8/98 or even Q9. If he had a K he would probably wait for the turn, though not necessarily.

So anyways, I don't think this is an instamuck. I would sit and think for a few seconds and probably see the turn and fold there if I don't improve.

Having the hand you do only cuts down the possible draws he could be raising. I fold the flop.
